It's a number that's free for callers in a particular country to dial, such as an 0800 number in New Zealand, an 800/888 number in the USA or an 808 number in the UK. Calls are routed to your Australian phone line or a local answering point in that country, so overseas customers can reach you without paying international call charges.

Which countries can I get a toll free number in?

We have published plans for New Zealand, the USA and the UK, and can supply toll free numbers across all major countries including Canada, Europe and Asia. If you don't see the country you need, please contact us on 1300 00 1300 or enquire online for a quote.

Do I need an office in the country to get a toll free number there?

No. Your international toll free number can be routed straight back to Australia, so there's no need to set up a local office or phone line overseas.

Where can calls be routed to?

Calls can be sent to an Australian landline or mobile, or to a local number in the country where the toll free number is based. You can also use time-based routing to send calls to different destinations depending on the time of the call.
